Your Performance Dashboard

Read the analytics behind your restaurant (page views, returning visitors, orders, reservations, and engagement) and what every card means.

Dashboard only

Every visit, order, booking, and review leaves a trace, and the Dashboard is where those traces turn into numbers you can act on. It’s the first screen you land on when you sign in.

Where it lives

Open Dashboard from the top of the sidebar. The page is titled Performance Dashboard, and a period selector on the right sets the window every number is measured over: Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, or Last 90 Days. Change it once and every tab and card follows.

The Performance Dashboard, Overview tab: a tab bar (Overview, Website, Engagement, Orders, Reservations), a period selector and Customize Dashboard button, a KPI row, and a grid of snapshot cards.
The Overview tab: headline numbers on top, then a snapshot card per area.

The tabs

The dashboard splits into tabs, each a different slice of your restaurant:

  • Overview: the landing view: headline numbers up top, then a grid of snapshot cards summarising every other tab.
  • Website: your traffic: visitors over time, new versus returning, where they came from, busiest hours, and top pages.
  • Engagement: reviews, gallery, subscribers, and contact messages.
  • Orders: order volume, revenue, and best-sellers.
  • Reservations: bookings, covers, and no-show rate.

The Orders and Reservations tabs appear only when you’ve switched those features on, so the dashboard never shows a chart for something you don’t use.

The headline numbers

The KPI row across the top of the Overview is the ten-second read. Each card is a big number for the selected period with a smaller line beneath it for context:

CardWhat it counts
Page ViewsTotal views of your site, with the change versus the previous period (↑ or ↓ %)
New VisitorsPeople visiting for the first time, and their share of the total
ReturningPeople who’d been before, and their share: a rising figure means guests are coming back
Retention RateThe share of visitors who return; a single loyalty gauge

Once online ordering or reservations are on, the row adapts and swaps in the numbers that matter more to a running business: Orders, Revenue (which excludes refunded orders), Reservations, and Covers (guests seated).

Note: New vs returning is the pair worth watching. A new visitor is landing for the first time in the period; a returning one has been before. Together they tell you whether you’re winning fresh attention or building a loyal following: a healthy restaurant grows both. Retention Rate boils that down to one percentage.

Website: understanding your traffic

The Website tab is where the visitor story lives in detail. The same four traffic numbers sit on top, and below them a set of cards break the traffic down.

The Website tab: the Page Views, New Visitors, Returning, and Retention Rate KPI cards above charts for traffic trends, new vs returning visitors, visitor retention, and traffic sources.
The Website tab breaks your traffic down by trend, new-vs-returning, source, and more.

Making it yours

The dashboard isn’t fixed. On any tab, the Customize Dashboard button lets you show, hide, or reorder the cards, and set whether a card spans the full width or sits half-width. Every card also has a small hide button in its corner for a one-click removal.

Two touches worth knowing:

  • Customising is per tab: tidying the Overview doesn’t disturb the Website tab.
  • You can pull a detailed chart from another tab onto the Overview, so the one screen you check each morning shows exactly what you care about.

Tip: Set the period to Last 30 Days and glance at the Overview each morning. The Key Insights card surfaces the shifts worth reacting to (a dip in returning visitors, a jump in no-shows) long before they reach your takings.

Analytics is included on every plan, free ones too, so there’s nothing to unlock. The numbers start the day your site goes live.
