Auto-Filling Images with AI

Placing a photo on every dish by hand is fine for a short menu and tedious for a long one. Auto-Fill Images does the whole job in one pass: it looks at every item that has no picture, finds the closest match in the stock library, and assigns it. Items that already have a photo are left exactly as they are.

Running it

In the Menu Editor toolbar there’s an Auto-Fill Images button. Click it and a small window opens to confirm before anything changes.

There’s nothing to fill in. Click the run button and Lekro works through your menu, matches a photo to each item that’s missing one, and tells you how many it filled when it’s done. Your menu refreshes in place, so the new photos show up immediately.

What to expect

A couple of things are worth knowing before you rely on it:

• It only touches empty slots. If you’ve already chosen photos you like, they stay put — this won’t overwrite them.
• The match is automatic, so skim the results afterwards. Most will be spot on, but a dish with an unusual name might land on something generic, and you can swap any of those by opening the item and picking a different stock photo.
• Sometimes a few items have no good match in the library. The summary will say how many still need a photo, and those are the ones to handle by hand.

The chip at the top of the window shows how many runs your plan includes for the month. Each click counts as one run no matter how many items it fills, so it’s worth waiting until you’ve added a batch of dishes rather than running it after every single one.
