SEO and Online Presence
Polish how your restaurant shows up on Google and social media — most of it is done for you.
SEO and Online Presence
When someone searches your restaurant’s name — or “best pasta near me” — what they see in the results, and what pops up when your link gets shared on WhatsApp, is your online presence. Lekro builds most of it automatically from your menu and profile. This page is where you check it over and add the finishing touches.
Opening the Page
Go to Marketing → Online Presence. Up top you’ll pick which page you’re tuning (Home, Menu, etc.) and which language, and a circular score gives you a quick read on how complete your setup is — it climbs as you fill things in.
Search Appearance
This card shows a live Google preview — the title and description a searcher sees — above the fields that control them.
- Meta Title — the clickable blue headline. Keep it under ~60 characters. Leave it blank and Lekro uses your restaurant name and the page name.
- Meta Description — the grey summary beneath it. Aim for 80–160 characters that actually make someone want to click.
- Favicon — the little icon in the browser tab and search results; it’s your profile image by default, and you can swap it.
Keywords
Lekro reads your menu and auto-detects keywords — dish names, categories, cuisine — so you start with a useful list rather than a blank box. Add your own custom keywords for things the menu doesn’t say outright (“rooftop dining”, “halal”, your neighbourhood), and hit Regenerate anytime you’ve changed the menu and want a fresh pass.
Social Preview
When your link is shared, this is the card people see. Flip between the WhatsApp, Facebook, and X tabs to check each one, then set the share image, and optionally a share title and description that differ from your search ones.
Tip: Pick a mouth-watering share image — a hero dish or your dining room. It’s the single biggest thing that makes a shared link get tapped.
Google Business Profile
The knowledge panel preview mirrors the box Google shows beside search results — name, rating, hours, address, phone. Lekro also generates the structured schema data (the machine-readable version search engines read) for you; switch to the Schema Data tab to view or copy it. Setting your map pin here helps you show up in local “near me” searches.
Sitemap
At the bottom, the sitemap status confirms Lekro is automatically telling search engines about your pages — it rebuilds itself as your site changes, so there’s nothing to maintain.
What to Actually Do
Most of this runs on autopilot. To get the most from it:
- Write a sharp title and description for your Home and Menu pages.
- Glance at the auto keywords and add a few of your own.
- Choose a great social share image.
- Fill in your address and drop a map pin for local search.
- Repeat the title/description step per language if your site is bilingual.
Hit Save changes when the floating bar appears, and your polished presence is live the next time someone looks you up.
