Editing a Section's Content

Stacking sections gives a page its shape. Filling them in gives it a voice. Every block has its own set of controls, and the preview updates as you type.

Opening the editor

In the Structure tab, click a section’s name and its editor unfolds underneath. Clicking the section in the live preview does the same thing: usually faster, since you can see what you’re aiming at.

The exact fields depend on the section, but a few kinds recur:

Text fields for titles, subtitles, and body copy.
Layout and style pickers, shown as visual tiles rather than a dropdown, so you choose by sight rather than by guessing what a name means.
Toggles and sliders for alignment, optional elements, sizes, and rounding.

Done at the top of the editor closes it. Nothing has reached your live site yet: it’s all draft until you publish.

Note: If your restaurant runs in more than one language, text fields hold one value per language, and the editor writes into whichever language the preview is currently showing. Switch the preview language and re-check your text, or one language ends up with placeholder content still in it.

The Photo Library

Every image field has Browse Photo Library beneath it, which opens your media library in its own window.

It starts empty; Upload New Image adds your first. After that the same library appears everywhere you pick an image, so a photo uploaded while editing your hero is available later when you fill in a gallery.

This is a different thing from the stock library in the menu builder: the Photo Library holds your uploads, the stock library holds ready-made photography.

Sections that hold lists

Some sections (a features grid, opening hours, a set of highlights) hold a repeating list rather than single values. These have an Add Item button and a remove control on each entry.

Add as many as the section is designed to show. Layouts built around three or four cards start looking cramped at eight, and the preview is the quickest way to see where that line is for a given block.

Once a section reads the way you want, reviewing and publishing your changes makes it public.
