Toggling Website Features

Your website can be as simple or as full-featured as you want. It can be a clean digital menu and nothing more — or it can take orders, accept reservations, call waiters to tables, and put a WhatsApp button one tap away. The point is that you decide, and you can change your mind any time.

It all lives in one place, split into two parts: the pages your customers can visit, and the features they can use.

Where to Find It

Go to Website → Pages & Features. The top half controls your pages; the bottom half controls your features.

Showing or Hiding Pages

These are the sections of your site — your menu, gallery, reviews, team, and so on. Each one is a card with a switch: on means it shows up in your site’s navigation, off means it’s hidden.

The Pages section: cards for Digital Menu, Reservations, Reviews, Gallery, Team, Contact and About Us, each with an on/off switch and a small stat like '9 dishes · 3 categories' or 'Visible'.
The Pages section — switch each page on or off, and drag to reorder.

A couple of things worth knowing:

  • Drag to reorder. Grab a card and move it — the order here is the order customers see in your site’s menu.
  • Each card shows a quick stat, like how many dishes your menu has or how many photos are in your gallery, so you can tell at a glance what’s behind each page.
  • The Reservations page needs the Reservations feature. You’ll turn that on in the Features section below — the page can’t appear without it.

Note: On the Free plan you can show a limited number of pages at once. The counter in the corner (e.g. “3 / 5 enabled”) tells you where you stand. Upgrade if you need more live at the same time.

Turning On Features

Features are the things customers can do, and they affect the whole site rather than a single page:

The Features section: a Food Ordering card with Pickup, Dine-in and Delivery channel chips, plus toggles for Table Reservations, Call Waiter Button and WhatsApp Button.
The Features section — ordering channels plus reservations, waiter calls, and WhatsApp.
  • Food Ordering — rather than a single switch, you pick which channels you accept: Pickup, Dine-in, Delivery, or any combination. Customers can build a cart either way; checkout is limited to the channels you choose. If you turn on Delivery, you’ll get fields for your delivery fee and radius.
  • Table Reservations — let guests book a table online. Bookings land in your dashboard, so this is the switch to flip once you’re checking it regularly.
  • Call Waiter Button — a button dine-in customers can tap to get a server’s attention. Handy in larger or busier rooms.
  • WhatsApp Button — a floating button that opens a WhatsApp chat with your number. You’ll be asked to enter that number the first time you switch it on.

Saving Your Changes

The two halves behave a little differently:

  • Page switches apply right away — flip one and it’s live.
  • Feature changes are batched. As you adjust them, a small save bar appears at the bottom of the screen showing how many changes you’ve made. Click Save to publish them, or Cancel to back out.

Warning: Turning a feature or page off removes it from your live site immediately once saved. If a customer is mid-way through using it, they’ll lose access — so switch things off during quiet hours when you can.

A Smart Rollout

There’s no prize for switching everything on at once. In fact, it usually backfires — a reservation button no one is watching, or an order channel the kitchen isn’t ready for, does more harm than good.

Tip: Turn on only what you can reliably deliver. Two features done well beat four done badly.

A rollout that tends to work:

  1. Start with the menu and its QR code — no operational change needed.
  2. Add WhatsApp — easy to manage, and customers love a direct line.
  3. Switch on Reservations — once you’ll be checking the dashboard regularly.
  4. Open up Ordering — when your kitchen workflow can handle digital orders.
  5. Enable Waiter Calls — once your staff is trained on the alerts.

Add each one at your own pace. Every feature can improve the experience — but only if you can back it up consistently.
